About Us
Monica, Jonah, Julianna, Jeff, Virginia (L to R)
Monica grew up just down the road from the farm, where her grandparents lived. In university, she met Jeff, a city boy born and raised in Vancouver! Two kids later, they returned to the family farm and Jeff quickly learned how to be a farmer—what else can you do when there's crops that need to be planted and calves that need to be pulled at 2 a.m. in a snowstorm? Shortly after moving back to the farm, Julianna came along... but not before a quick cow check en route to the hospital!
These days, Jeff is a full-time farmer, using his plentiful free time (ha ha!) to craft five star farm-to-table meals for the family. Monica works part-time as a Physiotherapist, working on the farm the rest of the time and growing bountiful gardens in the summer!
Jonah began his career working on the farm as he and his wife Alicia raise the fifth generation, their son James.
Virginia is living in Calgary working downtown in the energy industry and makes trips home to help on the farm when an extra hand is needed.
Julianna earned a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy and is working in Ponoka part time and helping on the farm. Her fiancé, Lewis, is working on the family farm and growing his own cattle herd.
