About Us
Monica, Jonah, Julianna, Jeff, Virginia (L to R)
Monica grew up just down the road from the farm, where her grandparents lived. In university, she met Jeff, a city boy born and raised in Vancouver! Two kids later, they returned to the family farm and Jeff quickly learned how to be a farmer—what else can you do when there's crops that need to be planted and calves that need to be pulled at 2 a.m. in a snowstorm? Shortly after moving back to the farm, Julianna came along... but not before a quick cow check en route to the hospital!
These days, Jeff is a full-time farmer, using his plentiful free time (ha ha!) to learn about beekeeping, while continually improving on his expert culinary skills. Monica works part-time as a Physiotherapist, working on the farm the rest of the time and growing bountiful gardens in the summer!
Jonah, 25, is helping on the farm after completing a Diploma in Agricultural Management at Olds College.
Virginia, 23, is attending the University of Calgary pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing. She's hoping to use her experience in marketing to fight misconceptions and educate others about Canadian ag.
Julianna, 20, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University, hoping to follow in her momma's footsteps and go into Physiotherapy. She's passionate about helping others and looking forward to a career in health care.
